Catching Up

Since it's about to go public, I suppose I better play catch up on things. Not much has changed. I am officially, as of today, out of the 1st trimester. Yeah!! If only I was feeling better. I am trying to be patient and give it another week or two before I accept the reality that I may never feel better over the next 6 months. If that is the way it has to be, it's okay too. I would go to the moon and back a million times for this baby.

Our next appointment is this Friday. I am anticipating a pretty uneventful appointment. I think we will schedule the date for our big ultrasound though so it will give us something to look forward to.

Over the last week we have told most of our family but still have a couple people left to tell. In the next couple days it should be out in the open.

Family has asked me if I am showing yet and I thought I was starting to but I have decided I still am not really. I feel like there is an extra inch of abdominal fat that is not usually there but no bump yet.

Gary has been so great over the last couple months. He has been more understanding than I could ask for and been very good at taking care of me. He has been reading some of the expecting father books I gave him and learning lots. It is funny to see him go from the reckless tough guy to the guy that is concerned about my protein intake and lying on my back. I wouldn't change a thing though, I am glad we both have someone looking out for us :)

12 weeks...not much change yet!....except maybe the gradual loss of my tan :(
