5 seems like a big number! Baby Delaney has been busy changing over this last month and is starting to seem less like a baby :( She has been really fun this month along with the continued neediness (it's gotten a little better this last week, she is actually entertaining her self a little more) I think we may have found out why she has needed a little extra attention....BIG NEWS!!!...Delaney's tooth is breaking through! Although it's an ugly process, it's the most beautiful little tooth I have ever seen. It makes her seem so old. I think I said, "I can't believe my baby has a tooth!" all weekend. I wasn't even the first to notice it. Gary took her to help set up for a friends wedding on a morning I had to sleep because of working the previous night. When he got home, he said Delaney wants to tell you something. I knew immediately what he meant and rubbed my finger along her gums. I couldn't feel anything but saw the swollen white bump. The next day you could feel the rigid edge and everyday since then a little more pokes through. One of Gary's friends noticed it. Other new tricks Delaney has been up to....
*She can now roll off of her stomach and back onto her back. She even gets her butt off the ground and scoots towards things she wants.
*She wakes up about once a night for me to feed, but usually sleeps all night for Gary. Little stinker! How does she know when I'm home and when I'm at work?
*This month she went on her first camping trip and to her first wedding.
*She is giggling! I love it! It's pretty limited still, but I could listen to it for hours. It's the cutest thing in the entire world. I first got her to do it by snorting like a pig, apparently that is some funny stuff! And it's only mom, not dad! Gary has been getting her to laugh by tickling her, so fun to watch them play together.
*It's hard to do anything with her in your arms. She bats things out of your hands and tries to grab them. She also has been grabbing faces, hair, skin, whatever she can get her paws on. She can be pretty rough, believe it or not!
*Getting ready to start cereal sometime soon.
*Growing out of her 3-6 month pj's.
*Thinks she is too big for her swing and tries to wiggle her way out of it. I found her hanging half way out of it the other day.
*Still loves to smile. In fact it's hard to get a picture of her not smiling because she knows to smile for the camera.
Although capturing smiles is pretty easy, this was by far our most challenging photo shoot. She is so wiggly she doesn't want to sit still anymore!

Oh man she is getting so big! I really need to see her again soon. Summer is just so busy I can't wait to see her hopefully at the wedding! She is so cute I just love the pictures of her.
