Annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

I will say it again, fall is my favorite time of year! And this is one of my favorite family traditions we started when Delaney was a baby. We have gone to a pumpkin patch every year since she was born. The local one we went to for the first two years has closed so last year we tried a different local one and this year we were able to go to Green Bluff, a popular one in the Spokane area. There are multiple farms there to visit, but one was just right for having little ones. Maybe some day we can make it an all day trip and visit more than one. Anyways, the weather was great and everyone had a blast.

Earlier this summer, Delaney had an obsession with riding a horse, or a "forsey." Very randomly one day while she was riding in the car and looking out the window, she said, "Momma, I want to ride a forsey." I explained to her that maybe someday she could, but not right now. She wouldn't take that for an answer and for a good month she bugged Gary and I both often about going to ride a forsey. Gary even tried to arrange it with friends of ours that owns a couple horses. The timing never quite worked and soon she lost interest in the idea. But they had ponies to ride at the farm we went to and this cowgirl was so excited to ride one.  She was a little nervous but did so good and seemed to be having fun. She picked her pony, his name was Bobby.

Cannon was sad that daddy didn't let him do what he wanted.

Cannon loves animals so he thought feeding the sheep was pretty fun.

The pea pit is always a favorite.  It was by far Delaney's favorite thing when she was Cannon's age, and he loved it too.  Not for mom though, it takes a lot to get over the germs here:)
