We Survived!

Well all survived my first week back to work. I am 100% sure she did better than me. Even with my plush schedule, it was still harder than I imagined. Once I was there working, I was fine. It was leaving that tore my heart out. Gary didn't seem to have any problems with his new responsibilities and the "nanny" situation also seemed to work out alright. I'm now coming to the end of a stretch off so I am starting to get sad and stressed again about what I know is right around the corner. For now I am just trying to do my best and enjoy time with Miss Delaney. She is so fun right now. She has perfected the most amazing smile that I swear you couldn't deny this kid the whole world when she flashes it. She is also good with timing and will show you her gummy grin when you tell her how cute or how pretty she is. She does this all the time to strangers. She has even been working on her pouty lip, unfortunately she is pretty good at that one too.

This was her present from the Easter Bunny.  He was a little late this year but she didn't care.  She likes her new toy, and so does Brody.

I think this is a first.  She didn't require any jostling, patting, sucking...she just fell asleep.

Pretty girl....

My first REAL Mother's Day.....

I say REAL because Gary has always been good to me and bought me flowers to plant for being a good pup mom.  But this year I can't even begin to say how blessed I am to be able to be this little sweethearts momma.  She is my pride and joy and I can't believe we have only had her in our lives for 3 amazing months.  I feel like being a mother is the ultimate gift from God and I will try to never take this for granted.  Gary was in Vegas for Mother's Day so me and Delaney hung out by ourselves all day.  I actually cleaned most of the day but Gary made it up to me when he got home.  We missed him lots!

Most people still say she looks like her daddy.
