9 Months

Peanut Pie is 9 months old and as busy as can be.  As ornery as she is at times, she balances it out with so much sweetness!  I can't even put into words the amount of love Gary and I have for this child.  She is just the light of our lives.  Who knew almost 9 years ago that our lives would come to this....being fully entertained by a 9 month old and loving every minute of it.

*I think she still weighs about 19-20 pounds.  She has an appointment this week so we will find out then.  She truly eats more than I ever thought a baby could eat.  She LOVES olives!  She definitely has some Stevenson in her.  She doesn't really gain weight quickly but I know it is because she is so busy.  When she is sitting in her high chair eating, she kicks her feet the WHOLE time.  When she nurses, she plays with my face, hair, and sometimes scratches and pinches me!  She also pets me too!  She kicks and twists during her diaper changes-in fact I often feel like I have finished wrestling a small animal when we are finished.  Literally, wont sit still for more than a second.   Does "laps" with her push lion as long as you help her and gets going so fast she is practically running!  Crawls a mile a minute to get to things she shouldn't have like the dogs food and water.  Has figured out lots of naughty things like the toilet paper roll and the toilet water.

*She has slept all through the night 2 nights in a row now!  It is such a weird feeling to sleep through the night again. When I wake up I feel like I am in a dream!  Hope this continues:)

*Babbles and squeals, but no real words yet.

*Learned to clap about 2 weeks ago.  Along with this she also pats her leg now like she's calling the dogs.  Who knows!

*She loves the dogs.  They don't love her.  She now tries to chase them and they really don't love that.

*So close to walking!  She stands for several seconds by herself and let go on her own for the first time last night.  I guess I was wrong on my Thanksgiving prediction, maybe Christmas.

*Loves tickles under her neck and giggles too!  It is so funny.  I could just eat her up.  Oh, that laugh....has to be my favorite thing in this world.

*Takes some time to wake up these days and likes to be held until she does.  She lays her head on our shoulders and pops her head up when she is ready for more action.

*Her eyes are just like Gary's.  A bluish, green, brown color.  I really don't know what color I would say they are.  They do have a little more brown in them than Gary's but pretty close to his color.

*I think soon we will see her back molars, but for now still the 8 precious lil teeth.
These pictures were so hard to get.  Not my best work.  It was near impossible to get her to sit still, with out pulling off her headband/sticker or trying to get off the couch...and trying to make her smile through it all.   I needed 3 of me!
