12 Months!

*If I hold my arms out for a hug, Delaney will drop whatever is in her hands and come straight for me to give me the biggest hug ever!  I love this, it's my most favorite thing right now.  It's so funny because no matter what is in her hands or how interested in it she is, she sees me and is on a mission.   I'm glad as of now, I am more important than toys...I'm sure this wont last long! She is the best little hugger.  She also likes to give kisses, but these make me a little nervous.  She likes to use her teeth...a lot!
*She practically runs all around the house.  When she is tired or has extra energy she really gets going and runs and falls on purpose, then laughs at herself.  It is so funny.  When she gets like this Brody knocks her down from the back and she thinks that is funny too.
*She is now officially a milk drinker, I started weaning her around 11.5 months and she easily converted.  Easier on her than momma.  She really likes her milk warm, doesn't care for it much cold.
*Just in the last week she has been saying more defined sounds.  No words but I think she is getting closer to saying her first words.
*A couple weeks ago I was cleaning up her breakfast mess and while I was busy she helped herself to the pantry that I mistakenly left open.  I finished cleaning and walked into the living room to find her with a bag of animal cookies.  She had a mouthful and was packing the bag around just walking around.  Little stinker!

*She still tries to run from me when she has something she isn't suppose to and she has big grin while doing it!
*She really hates walking outside with shoes on.  We are trying to get her more use to it.  She has never worn shoes because she always takes them off as soon as you put them on her.  Gary got her a pair of lace up Nike's that she can't really get off.  She doesn't like them.  As soon as you put her down she screams.  Hopefully she gets used to it....soon!
*Has perfected her fits!  She really knows how to arch her back and kick her legs now!  Momma doesn't like this skill much. Although she is very independent and active, she has always had times where she just needs her momma too.  And I love these times so much!
*Still loves to try to eat the dogs food and make a mess with their water.  Oh, brother will she ever give this up?!
*She has started bringing books to us but still doesn't have the patience to let us read one to her.
*Is having so much fun with all of her birthday toys!
*Loves bath time, playing peek-a-boo, being tickled, rough housing with daddy, and chasing the dogs still.
*Still about 20.5 lbs, has an official appointment this week. She must be getting taller though cause she can reach more stuff on the counters:)
*Has 9 teeth, her 8 middles and on of her bottom right molars. 
*Her hair is growing fast. It likes to sit right in her eyes. I try to pull it to the side but she has discovered her hair bows and clips now so she pulls them out all day long. Surprised she held out this long!
