Delaney's Birth-DAY

My sweet Delaney, Laney, Laney Lou, Lou Lou, Lou, Peanut, Peanie, Peanie Pie, Peaners, Panini, Nini.  Yes, you are called all of these things often.  Lou and Nini have become as common as your name!  I don't even know where to start...It's so hard to believe you are 1.  We have had so much fun with you over this last year. You have changed our world so much and we can't imagine life without you.  You are the perfect addition to our family.  Your adventurous, strong willed personality is not something I saw coming but I love every ounce of attitude you contain and couldn't be prouder to call you my daughter.  Generally, you are the happiest and most smiliest little person I have ever laid eyes on.  Your smiles are so big, I wonder how your cheeks don't hurt!  You know exactly how to ham it up and make us giggle.   Don't get me wrong, you have a flair for drama too.  When you are mad or sad, you sure let us know...luckily that isn't often these days.  You are definitely your own person and if I loved you anymore my heart just may burst.  You have taught me more in one short year than I have learned in my 27 years of life. Thank you for overfilling my heart with love and our lives with completion.  I am so thankful you were made just for your daddy and me. You are our bundle of joy and the light our lives. Always know how loved and special you are!

You didn't get to sleep till late that night and I distinctly remember you falling asleep at almost exactly 9:43 p.m.....your time of birth one year ago!  Happy birthday my first born.
