I know it's been well over a month since Father's Day but it doesn't mean we don't appreciate Gary/daddy everyday of the year! I must have picked well 9 years ago before I knew how great of a dad Gary would be. Gary continues to impress me everyday with his patience and love for our daughter. I don't think he ever anticipated how much he would love this child or how well "wrapped" she would have him. He truly loves being a dad more than anything and it's obvious to me everyday. Delaney and I couldn't be more blessed to have him in our lives.
This year for Father's Day we spent the night on the water again. Delaney was quite the handful this time because she only wanted to go to the water and cried when we picked her up to bring her back to the fire. This went on and on and on and on, so it wasn't quite as relaxing as our last beach bonfire. She did have fun learning to skip rocks with daddy.
This is what Delaney does when she needs "help" walking. Sometimes I feel like her servant when she does this:)
