6 Months

 He's 1/2 a year old!  Where did time go?  Cannon is so fun and sweet.  Although he definitely has his challenging times, he makes up for it in snuggles.  He loves to cuddle!  We love this little man so much!  He has added so much joy to all of our lives!

Cannon started crawling around 5.5 months.  He kind of skipped the scooting and army crawling stage and just decided to crawl one day.  He was good at it from the beginning too.  It's been fun to watch.  He is so fast too.  He almost immediately discovered the dog food and keeps hoping to beat mom and dad too it.  He also thinks he can stand.  This one makes me nervous.  He tries to pull himself up on just about anything.  The stove, the bar stools, my leg, whatever he can.  I am worried he is going to fall face forward and hurt himself.  He has fell many times on the back of his head:(  It breaks my heart.

He is loving solids more now.  He will eat just about anything now.  He likes to be fed fast and gets fussy if you don't give it to him fast enough.  He eats one big bowl of veggies or fruit mixed with cereal every night.  Other than that he nurses constantly to maintain his chubby cheeks and belly. 

He really likes his momma.  We can pass him back and forth when he is crying and he instantly stops when it's my turn, then starts when I pass him off to Gary.  Little stinker.  He cries when he is left alone too.  Hates when you walk away from him.  I have gotten pretty creative on how to sneak out of a room without being seen:) 

Sleep has actually gotten worse:(  He wakes up anywhere from 2-5 times a night for me and 0-1 times a night for Gary.  Boo!  It's not a food quantity issue either because I have been home at times and we have given him extra milk from a bottle that needs to be used and he still wakes up that many times for me.  I guess he just wants to make sure I haven't gone anywhere.  Naps are still a nightmare too, but we are working on it.  If he hasn't slept, he is a bear and so hard to deal with.  He gets packed around most of the day and that is just the way he wants it!

Loves his sister so much!  He loves when she wakes up in the mornings and loves to watch what she is up to.  She doesn't love that he is old enough to take her toys now.  She loves to let him know what he can and can't do.  "No, babee!" are words that are uttered frequently by her these days.

He also loves paper:{  If he spots it anywhere, he is on it and gets to it before I can grab it.  And he gets chunks of it off in no time.  It's kind of weird but he just loves it!  

No more teeth yet.  His hair is slowly growing, but only on top. His eyes are about the same color as last month.  Green with some brown in them.
