What a year....Already!

Wow!  2014 has been a crazy one already.  Even though it's only the 15th, it feels like it's been much longer.  I am so behind in my blogs, I am going to start with a simple more recent one and go from there.  Our year has been a little crazy because of household sickness.  I think I have been the sickest and having momma down, doesn't go to well.  I still don't feel great, but am so thankful to not feel as sick as I did the first couple weeks after Christmas.   Poor Cannon has had a runny nose and little cough that he can't seem to kick, but thankfully it's not worse and Delaney seems to be fine after a couple days of a runny nose.

Anyways, besides that we've made some big changes with the kiddos.  After several rough sleeping experiences with Cannon lately, we decided to switch him to his own room.  Which also means, Delaney moved out of her crib and into a big girl bed!  It actually went a lot better than I anticipated.  It's been about 4 nights now and things are still going pretty well.  Whew!  I thought it was going to be awful.  Sweet Delaney just loved her crib so much still, I was worried about her making the transition but she actually hasn't really had any issues at all with the switch.  She still sleeps well and seems to like her new bed.  She got a cool new pink sleeping bag from grandma for Christmas and it has helped her get excited about her new sleeping arrangements.  And Cannon is doing better than I thought too.  He has struggled a little with being put down to sleep at his normal time and has been really fighting it until 11:00 right now.  A weird change for the baby that can't usually make it much past 7:00.  I have been trying to put him down at his normal time when he gets really fussy but after I feed him, he has been wide awake and happy for a few more hours before he's actually ready.  He has been waking up once or twice and wanting fed and snuggles then is okay being put back in his bed till about 7am.  Then he is either ready to wake up or if he went to sleep late, he will sleep in bed with me for another hour or so.  And he has even taken a few short naps in his crib.  I hope he continues to like his new bed.

I had to post a picture of the this because I feel like I am commanding the airways or something at night with these two monitors!
