9 & 10 Months

Our sweet boy is almost 11 months old!  Guess that makes it time to talk about his 9th and 10th months of life.  Cannon is developing quite the personality and has been such a fun little brother for Delaney.  I just love their relationship and enjoy nothing more than watching them grow closer together. 

Cannon is still working on his sleeping behaviors.  He is still very sporadic.  You never know what the night holds with him.  Luckily, last night he did great and only woke up once, but last week he had a night where he woke up almost 2 times every hour!  It was quite exhausting.  He is back to taking milk from a bottle when Gary is home.  He doesn't seem to be any better for Gary than he is for me.  I guess he is keeping it consistent there!   His naps are getting better too.  He usually takes a morning nap and an afternoon nap.  They last anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.  They are usually pretty short but I am just happy he is actually napping! 

Cannon can officially walk!  He took his first few steps at about 10.5 months (exactly the same time Delaney did)  but he didn't start doing it on his own until just this week.  He still crawls way more than he walks.  He is pretty cautious about walking still.  I just love when babies learn to walk.  It has to be one of the cutest things ever!

He can get into all the cupboards and drawers now.  He loves to play in the ones he isn't suppose to and cries when you don't let him.  Delaney likes to be the keeper of all of the things he isn't suppose to be doing.  This makes him even more mad!

Cannon can say Momma!  He usually only does so when he is fussy and wants picked up but it's still so sweet!  Love that it was my boy's first word:)  Although he is still quite the momma's boy, he is really liking that his daddy does fun stuff outside.  He is already starting to realize that he likes to hang out with dad.  Last night he sat by the slider and watched him mow the yard for almost 30 minutes.  Gary couldn't watch him anymore without taking him outside with him to help finish it up.  So cute! 

Cannon LOVES it outside!  He cries when it's time to come in and sits by the door a lot just staring out in the backyard.  He loves to crawl in the grass and play in the rocks. 

He still loves his food!  His favorite is by far still bananas.  We buy 3 bunches at a time almost twice a week!  He is now loving oranges too.  He likes daddy's elk meat too.  Pretty much anything that you put on his tray is a hit with him:)

He has his 8 front teeth.  His hair is a light golden brown.  His eyes are half green and half brown, just like his sisters.
