4 Months

Our sweet boy is 4 months old!  We are learning more and more about Holden's personality each day.  The last few weeks his colic has improved and now it seems to only come out once or twice a week.  Much more tolerable.  We think he may be working on getting a couple teeth though, so that has made him a little grumpy lately but still so much better!  It's so nice to see him happy more often now.  I love his sweet smile and occasional giggle.  Can't wait to hear it more often!

Holden's eyes are turning a dark green color.  I think they are transitioning into his siblings eye color, a greenish brown color.  The little bit of hair he has is still pretty dark.

He has rolled over a few times now from his back to his belly.  He started doing that the day before he turned 4 months old.  He has only done it a few times.

He squeals a lot.  Sometimes it's a mad squeal, sometimes it's from being happy.  He goes pretty quickly from happy to mad so sometimes it's in transition:)

He sleeps pretty well.  He wakes up once or twice to feed but sleeps from about 8:00-7:00.  When he is ready for bed, he lets us know.  He is a mess if he gets pushed to stay awake any later than he wants to.  I feel like this is a first for us.  I know we used to keep Delaney up late all the time, I can't remember if Cannon was like this or not.

He loves to eat.  I'm pretty sure he'd eat all day long if I let him.  He'd probably puke all day long too though.  He still spits up after almost every feed.  Poor guy.

He is pretty entertained by the TV and also his siblings.  He sometimes likes his swing and sits in his bouncer quite a bit still too.

He is already showing a lot of interest in our food.  I don't think he will let us wait too long before he starts demanding some bites!

Sometimes he's a great napper, other times he's not.  He usually takes a short nap in the morning after being awake for a few hours.  And usually takes a longer afternoon nap and occasionally a short evening one as well.  He does the best when swaddled tightly with his arms down.

He seems to only have eyes for his momma.  When he spots me or hears my voice, he doesn't take his eyes off me and tracks my every move.  I love that he loves me so much!

He does the best in the mornings.  As the day goes on he gets fussier and harder to please.

He had his 4 month check up yesterday.  He seems to be doing great.  So far he's taking after his sister and is long and lean with a big head!  Just like Delaney:)
