Thanksgiving 2015

I have worked every Thanksgiving since I started working at the hospital.  I have never really minded much, since most of our family has other plans and it's overtime pay.  We usually do something small and special with just us to make up for it when we get time.  This year we cooked a traditional turkey dinner.  I will admit, we did Stove Top Stuffing though!  Since I worked the whole weekend and knew I wasn't going to have much time to prep or cook and Gary has to have his stuffing, we decided this was one area we could skimp on.  Gary smoked a turkey.  Delaney is a big turkey fan these days.  We did our traditional night with Christmas PJ's, movies, and books too.  Grandma came over for dinner too!  It was a fun night and always reminds me that it doesn't matter when you choose to celebrate the holiday.  All that matters is being with the ones you love the most!
