28 Weeks...3rd Trimester!

Yeah! I have officially entered the 3rd trimester. Everything is still going well. I have developed some new symptoms not bad or good, just different. 1. Swelling...haven't had any until now! After work my feet and lower legs look about twice their normal size. Luckily when I am not working they still look normal. 2. A way increased sense of smell. I have had this the whole pregnancy but it has gotten really bad over the last week. I feel like a bloodhound! 3. Massive weight gain. So much for slowly putting on the weight. So far over this pregnancy I had only gained about 7-8 pounds, that was until I had a 6 lb weight gain in a week! I am not sure how it happened, because I haven't changed my diet or anything. I know sometimes that fast of weight gain can be associated with preeclampsia but since I don't have any other symptoms and my blood pressure is normal, we are not too worried. At work this weekend, I wore the maternity scrubs a coworker let me borrow...they were so much more comfortable. I don't think I can go back to my old ones! Today I had my 28 week appointment, did my diabetes test and got my Rhogam injection. I think I have said this before but...goal for the week is to FINALLY order the nursery furniture and bedding.




Gary said, "You know you always wear those pants in these pictures." I told him I do it on purpose for comparison, and I do wear these pants a lot because they still fit me so that may be changing soon.
