Still 2 cm's. She said I was thinning out more, more effaced, but not a whole lot of change. Crazy the more pressure and contractions I feel, the less my cervix does. Blood pressures, weight, babies heart beat, etc....everything else is still in check and looking good which is what is important. Over the last couple weeks her movements have cracked me up. Instead of her normal kicks and jabs, I feel rolls and somersaults like she is swimming. To bad Aunt Cami isn't here to see and feel it. I have tried to video it but she is camera shy. Every once in a while I get a heal the upper left portion of my stomach. When this happens she stops moving for a minute or two. I think it scares her and she gets stuck or something...poor girl! It never fails either that every night at some point she will get the hiccups for 10 minutes or so. Most of the time it is more than once a night. I have been taking care of small itty bitty twins at work the last few nights and I can't believe how much bigger Delaney will be.
Everyday I get a little more accomplished and feel a little better about being ready but I still feel like there is sooooo much to do. I know it wont all get done but that's okay.
I can't believe in less than a month sometime we will finally get to meet our baby. I can't think about it without getting emotional and teary. It still doesn't seem real to me that I am about to be a mom. Our lives are about to change but we couldn't be more excited and ready to add another life to our family. We spend a lot of time in her room right now just talking about her and what she will be like. I love that Gary finds an excuse to go in there at least once a day.
I am looking forward to another shower from my coworkers Friday night. It is so nice to hang out with them outside of work and they truly have taken such good care of me during my pregnancy. We are so blessed with great friends!
