Updates...
I don't even know where to start...Christmas and New Years were both pretty uneventful. I worked Christmas eve but spent the rest of the time in Post Falls getting to see my family and then Christmas day with Gary's family. I am pretty sure I spent the majority of my time at my sisters, on the couch. I remember feeling even more miserable than I usually am at home. Luckily I think everyone in my family understands and was still happy to have me there...I hope:) This was also the week (33, I think) that I really started getting uncomfortable. I know it is going to get a lot worse still and I am ready for that, but I started getting really achy hips and back pain which made it very difficult to sleep. Other than that things have pretty much stayed the same. I still have lots of pressure and am feeling more and more contractions but can't complain much more than that right now!
I had a doctors appointment last week that was very uneventful, thankfully. It was with the nurse practioner so she just checked things like my blood pressure, babies heart rate, and fundal heighth and that was it. Everything still checked out good. She prescribed me an even different medication for the nausea even though I didn't bring it up. She said she could tell by my unimpressive weight gain that I was still strugling with it. I haven't tried the new medication yet. At this point I am not too hopeful and feel like I have gotten this far with it, what is another 5 weeks or so. I just hope Delaney is getting what she needs and is gaining what she needs to. By the way my stomache has grown over the past few weeks, I would say she is doing just fine:) My belly button is stretched to the max and pops out a little at the top, I don't know how much more it can handle!
New Year's Eve was fun. I made Gary stay up way to late according to him since he had only slept for about 5 hours and had traveled to and from McCall all day to snowmbile. I didn't feel to sorry for him...at all! He tried hard anyways. We got to visit friend at my brothers house and be surronded by lots of cute babies (Addilynn, Beau, Braylon, & Kaden). I think all of them were up past their bed times too but none of them complained like Gary!
The day after New Year's Day we met with a photographer Gary graduated high school with and took some maternity pictures. It was sooooo cold but I am glad we did it now. I have already got to see a couple but can't wait to see and share some more.
And lastly, I had another appointment today. Babies heartbeat was strong and she was moving like crazy. Everything else was as expected too. They collected my GBS culture to determine if I will need antibiotics for labor and also checked my cervix. This time it was a different doctor and she said I was now about 1 and 1/2 cm, 50% effaced, and baby was -2 station. This is a small change from last time but it could have been a lot worse so I think I still feel okay about things. I have a big stretch of work coming that I would like to get through and then I think I will feel better about things. The doctor gave me a prescription of Procardia if I need it for the contractions. Hopefully I can still manange to somewhat take it easy at work and get through without it. 35 weeks means I can delivery at Pullman if I needed to, so I am excited about that. I have taken care of lots of 35 week babies and some do great but some need help still, so I am still hoping to make it to at least 37 weeks. I still predict making it close to my due date but hopefully not over it by too much. My prediction is February 1st! She definately better wait a couple weeks so I can get more of her room done and feel more prepared. Although, I love that Gary tells me all she needs right now is me!
These pictures are more from 34 1/2 weeks....

We were so glad you came to visit it was so nice to see you! You look great and I'm sure she is getting big and healthy to make her dramatic entrance into the world.... PS I can't wait for that day! She will be beautiful. I can't wait for our little girls to grow up together. The only thing that would make it better were if you lived in St. Maries:) Can't wait to see pictures. Glad things are going good
