Sick Baby :(

Poor little baby had her worst sickness this last week. Fortunately she is much better now and I am LOVING having my high spirited happy baby back.  Seeing your little ones sick has to be one of the worst things.  It was absolutely heartbreaking.  I hated not being able to help her more and it was exhausting for momma too.

This was the night it started to hit.  She woke up from her nap on fire.  She had a temp of 103.9 degrees.  I felt horrible.  She was miserable.  She would not let me set her down the rest of the evening.  I literally held her all night.  Making dinner was not going to happen unless I held her.  That is when we drug this out.  I haven't worn her in this for probably a year now.  She is much too long for it but we made it work and she was happy.  She even smiled a little.

Even though she took a late nap she didn't make it more than an hour after dinner.  This kid has rarely ever fallen asleep on me, not once since she was a baby.  She was so sad and pathetic she just couldn't stay awake any longer.  We slept on the couch for awhile before I put her to bed.  This was the last night she actually slept pretty well.  After that it went down hill and we were up multiple times each night. 

She still wanted her milk.  But look at her poor face.  She was a mess :(

Taking a long bath with mommy made her so happy and was the only time she smiled for those few days
