Winter Spirit

Today we had a fun winter day preparing for Christmas. We went tree hunting this morning and found our perfect little Christmas tree.  This nauseated pregnant lady on a two hour road trip squished in a small pick- up was so happy to find the tree within a few minutes of parking.  We had planned to go to the Christmas parade downtown like we did last year, but weren't able to go due to nap time.  I was bummed but we did get to go see Santa!  Santa comes to the lighted park every year for pictures and cookies.  I thought it was a good time to introduce Delaney to him with no pressure:)  I had a feeling she would cry this year and I was right.  She cried at first but once I gave her a candy cane she was a little better.
