I can't really say the last 20 weeks have gone by fast, cause being nauseated everyday sure seems to make them drag on! Like I have said before, even though I haven't felt my best, I still feel very lucky and blessed for these experiences. Speaking of experiences, I happened to have one of the greatest this last weekend....I finally felt the baby move! It was so exciting and amazing. It happened Saturday night for the first time, or at least the first time I knew for sure it was her. I was taking a bath and kept noticing a twitching movement, that I could see in my abdomen. The movement was correlating directly with the fluttering feeling I have occasionally felt from time to time over the last couple weeks. It continued every few seconds for over 15 minutes. I must have stared and smiled at my tummy for like 30 minutes, in awe of the feeling. Since then it has there has been days when I don't notice it again, but last night when I was at work she was super active. She must be a night shift girl like her momma! Or she was telling me it's 3 am and we should be sleeping! Either way, I absolutely love it! It is the most incredible thing. I only wish I could tell Gary. He is still hunting. He has been listening to me whine for over a month about how badly I want to feel the baby move. For some reason this hunting season has made me miss him more than others. I think it is all the pregnancy hormones!
I had my routine OB appointment last week, but it was not exciting. Not exciting is a good thing though! Everything still looks good, he gave me a new idea to try for nausea. It's the B6 and Unisom combination. I am still deciding if it works. I really don't like taking medications at all if I can avoid it, so I unless it is a miracle pill I probably will just continue to do what I am doing.
As I blog about the exciting things in my life, my heart is heavy this week for dear friends/family that are going through so much to create their own little miracle. I hope they know how much I think about them and pray for them to be parents. I love you guys!
Thanks for everyone's concerns about my scare last week. Things seem to be fine now and I love that feeling her movement is so reassuring. Here are my 20 week pictures....

Glad things are going good! I'm so glad you are feeling her now. It is so great to know they are safe. Hope you start to feel better soon hopefully see you this weekend
ReplyDeleteHoney you look so great! Have fun with Mom during the weekend.
