I left Gary alone with her for an hour to go workout and he had her stuffed into her bear suit that she barely fit into the week we brought her home. She didn't stay in it long!
A couple weekends ago Delaney had her first visit to Grandma and Grandpa Deverich's house. We went out on a Saturday afternoon and spent a couple hours there. Delaney loves looking at new scenery and there was plenty of new things for her to see there.
That night I went to a local Jr. Miss that one of my friend's daughter competed in. I left baby girl at home with Daddy. When I left around 5 p.m., she was smiling and cooing. I called Gary when it ended around 9 p.m., to see how their night went, and he said it didn't go so well. He told me she refused to eat and screamed for 2 hours:( It broke my heart. I felt so bad but I know I have to get used to it. It was their first bad experience together alone, so I think Gary may have gotten a feel for challenging she can be sometimes.
Our weekend ended with Delaney's first birthday party. We went to a park to celebrate a friend's daughters first birthday. It was cold and windy so she spent some time in momma's coat and most of the time in her warm car seat/stroller.
