20 Weeks!

It seems like it took an eternity to hit the halfway point!  But it's finally here.  I remember right before my accident, the nausea was almost gone.  Unfortunately, it came back a little after the accident.  I think it was the concussion or maybe the times when I had to take the stronger pain medication.  I really tried to not take pain medication once I got home, but there were a few times I still needed it.  After realizing it was making me sick, I stopped taking it all together and slowly have been better.  My stomach is just very sensitive to everything!

At 21 weeks, I finally felt movement!  I had been feeling small flutters for weeks that I was pretty sure was baby, but it took 21 weeks to confirm without a doubt it was baby.  I even saw it the same day.  I learned I have an anterior placenta, which often decreases the amount of movement moms can feel.  I'm sure that has to be what is going on because I felt Cannon much earlier and even Delaney a little earlier, even though she was my first.  I have seen tons of movement on all my ultrasounds, so it must just be the placement of the placenta making it more difficult to detect.  It is great to feel this little one move, especially after everything that has happened. I love that I can be reassured now that he is doing just fine.  Since, I felt that first movement it has only increased and I feel and see it often now.
