His eating habits have expanded recently and he pretty much tries everything. He still likes fruit, some veggies, some meats, oatmeal and yogurt. And of course has a sweet tooth like the rest of us. He doesn't like to sit in his high chair very much and prefers to sit by himself to eat or on one of our laps. He is pretty insistent on feeding himself and usually eats better if we let him. He likes milk a little more than his sister did, but still only drinks a little bit of it. We usually forget to even offer it to him because he went so long without taking it.
He runs a lot! He often falls too. He loves playing outside and loves to be wherever dad is. He loves getting on the powered four-wheeler, even though he's not the best at steering it. Delaney corrals hims where she wants him to go and for the most part he participates.
His vocabulary is expanding by the second, only as of the last few weeks though. He tries to say pretty much everything you ask him to. But he has mastered mamma, dadda, pup, papa, bite, wa wa (water), and Bubba. He is pretty close to sister. His voice is so precious, I could listen to him talk forever.
He loves little figurines. He packs them EVERYWHERE! He cries if you take them from him, so he pretty much lives with them in his hands. His favorites are Delaney's cast of Frozen..Sven, Christoph, and Hans. Sometimes he has the horse from Tangled, Maximus (I think). Occasionally he goes for the girls and grabs Anna and Elsa. He often goes to sleep with them as well. One night he woke up a bunch and I couldn't figure out why. In the morning, I found 2 or 3 figurines shoved into the toes of his PJ's. Silly kid.
He loves petting Berky and playing with Dewey. I think he is going to be my animal lover. He is pretty sweet to the dogs and loves having them around at all times. During his naps and while I am rocking him at night, he yells for Bubba.
He has mastered jumping on the trampoline. His stiff little jump is so cute.
Poor kid is still sick all the time. Luckily, it is usually just a runny nose and sometimes cough. He occasionally gets a fever or two. I am just hoping what the pediatrician says is right. He keeps reassuring me that he will have a good immune system when he is older because he has been exposed to so many illnesses at a young age. Guess we'll see.
He loves watching movies and demands constantly that one be put in the player. He loves Big Hero and Toy Story. He doesn't ever sit to watch them for more than a few minutes but likes to have them on.
